Hip Bone Connected to the...

We recently made this video during our 5mo check up. This visit was to take a high risk sonogram that shows bone and vital organ development. The picture in the blog post below of our baby was also a high risk sonogram to take the first measurements of the baby's neck, brain and spine at 3mo...now see how the baby has grown in only 2 months. Incase you're asking, ,"what makes you high risk?" I guess the fact that I'm 33 is risky enough, other than that we don't have any genetic risks. Our doctor is a firm believer that its best to know as much as we can about this baby to make sure we're ready for it when it arrives. Well, we'll know almost everything...just not the gender. Enjoy the video, shot by my very talented husband.

New Baby On the Way

This is a blog about a baby. Not just any baby, but our baby. How did we get here? I guess it took a little love and a blessing from above. We knew we wanted to have a baby after we got married (7/12/08) so we figured we'd start trying. And we succeeded pretty quickly because now we're expecting by 4/10/09, pretty much 9mo after we got married. Here is our little one that started as a few multiplying cells and by month 3 turning into a mini human. We affectionately call the baby Rowdy. Doesn't mean its a boy, because we're not finding out the gender until it's delivered. Check back here for updates about how Rowdy is developing as it takes the 40 week journey from mommy's womb to the delivery room.
